What is ‘Along Came A Spyder’ about? Along Came A Spyder is the story of a seventeen-year-old girl, Samira Joshi, who wants to be a spy. Samira stumbles upon a sisterhood of teen spies, The Spyders, and wants in. But it seems as if no one wants her to be a spy – neither her parents, nor the Spyders. It is the story of how Samira defies them all to fulfil her dreams. Any compliments that you received which you think is the best so far? Along Came A Spyder has received a lot of appreciation and praise. But the compliment that touched my heart was when children who didn’t like to read said that they couldn’t put my book down, and that it made them develop a love for reading. That’s the best compliment for an author, wouldn’t you say? What would you say is your writing quirk? I have a very strong sarcastic and funny voice, which I like to think of as my quirk. Whom would you recommend your book to? Anyone who likes to read funny spy thrillers with a strong female lead will thoroughly enjoy Along Came A Spyder, irrespective of their age. What are your future plans? How soon can your readers expect your next book? I recently published a romantic comedy, The Maharaja’s Fake Fiancée, as an eBook on Amazon’s KDP platform. I’m very happy to announce that the book has won first prize in the Amazon KDP Pen to Publish Contest 2020, in the English long format category.
