Description
In George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984,” the world is divided into three inter-continental totalitarian superstates perpetually at war. Under the oppressive regime of the Party, led by the mysterious Big Brother, individuality and independent thought are ruthlessly suppressed.
Winston Smith, a low-ranking member of the Party, dreams of rebellion. As he navigates a life of constant surveillance and propaganda, Winston begins a forbidden romance with Julia and dares to seek the truth.
Orwell’s chilling portrayal of a world where freedom is an illusion and truth is manipulated remains a powerful warning about the dangers of totalitarianism and the erasure of personal freedoms.
